Discover More About Our Winery

Our boutique winery is located in Healdsburg. We are open by appointment only. Because our wines are crafted in small amounts the best way to enjoy them is through our wine club. But we have also partnered with some select restaurants and run private tastings. Learn more about the BDV wines below.

Private Tastings

Reserve a private tasting with one of our Sommeliers. Tasting your way through a flight of our wines, you will learn about wine production, food and wine pairings and the history of wine.

BDV Events

Follow us on Instagram or join our monthly newsletter to learn about our upcoming events with restaurants.

Join Our Wine Club

Become a private member of our wine club.  Our small production winery focuses on quality and vintage variation. We would love to have you become a member of our team.

Meet the Team

Andy and Ben have been producing Pinot Noir wines in California since 2014. They share a passion for quality and attention to detail. Andy focuses on new ways of using technology in the vineyards and winery, such as aerial drone spraying and modern fermentation vessels. Ben makes sure they never lose the old-fashioned wine making techniques like extending macerations or hand sorting whole cluster fermentations. They own and operate Barowsky Disesa Vineyards in Healdsburg, California, a fifty-acre estate focused on premium quality Syrah, Mouvedre and Viognier grapes.

While some of the fruit has been sourced for household brands such as Orin Swift, their passion is in the BDV label which has a small, but high-quality production of less than five thousand cases a vintage. These wines, under the Barowsky label, are highly allocated and reserved for Direct-to-Consumer Sales and private wine tastings.
